Anthems at the Candle Lighting

The anthems (Lucernaria) which follow are intended for optional use at the Order of Worship for the Evening as provided for in the second rubric on page 112 of the Prayer Book. They are arranged for responsorial performance by a cantor or reader and the congregation. All repeat the complete refrain after the cantor, and the second half of the refrain after the verse which follows. The Lucernarium then concludes with the first half of the Gloria Patri, followed by the complete refrain.
